At Framboyant Learning Center, our Green Group program provides a nurturing environment where children learn through hands-on exploration and play. We focus on fostering independence and nurturing development across key areas during this formative stage.

Developmental Areas Addressed:

GROSS MOTOR SKILLS

What it does:

Children engage in age-appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors, encouraging activities such as dancing, jumping, climbing, and running.

FINE MOTOR SKILLS

What it does:

Activities like stringing beads, building with blocks, and playing with play dough enhance small muscle control and hand-eye coordination, essential for later writing skills

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATIONS

What it does:

Children expand their vocabulary through meaningful conversations, discussions, and interactive activities using flashcards, books, and manipulatives. 

SOCIAL EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

What it does:

Our curriculum emphasizes play-based learning to develop values such as compassion, empathy, and respect for peers and teachers. Children learn to problem-solve and express their emotions, building confidence and self-esteem.

COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES

What it does:

Activities stimulate curiosity, creativity, and cognitive skills through exploration, discovery, problem-solving, imitation, and imaginative play using music, reading, and interactive play

ACADEMIC PROGRAM ALPHABET

What it does:

  • Alphabet: Children learn to identify each letter and its corresponding sound.


  • Numbers: Counting and identifying numbers 0 through 10.


  • Colors and Shapes: Recognizing colors (red, orange, yellow, etc.) and basic geometric shapes (circle, triangle, square, etc.).


  • Themes: Exploring themes such as personal hygiene, food and nutrition, safety, the five senses, family, seasons, opposites, transportation, animals and habitats, emotions, global celebrations like Christmas, Earth Week, and the solar system.

INDEPENDCE AND ROUTINE

What it does:

Children are encouraged to follow routines and develop independence through age-appropriate tasks like cleaning up, choosing materials, and self-care activities
