WELCIOME TO FRAMBOYANT
Building Construction
The school features robust construction using
8” thick Hebel (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) blocks and panels, offering resistance against fire, water, pests, hurricanes, and even bulletproof properties.
Secured Premises
Classrooms are designed with safety in mind, including higher outside windows to prevent visibility into classrooms, designated refuge areas, metal doors with double locks, and interconnecting classrooms for swift access. All classrooms have an exit to the central playground. The building is 18 inches above street level to prevent flooding.
Safe Play Areas
The playground boasts a soft floor material and cushioned metal posts to minimize potential risks, ensuring the highest level of safety and security.
Fire Alarm/Burglary System
Our comprehensive security system includes a fire alarm to promptly detect fires and alert occupants, alongside a burglary alarm to prevent unauthorized access and intrusions outside operating hours.
Perimeter Security
Our facility features both a 4-foot external fence surrounding the perimeter, enhancing security by restricting unauthorized access, and a 6-foot internal fence enclosing the playground area, ensuring a secure and supervised environment for outdoor activities.
Security Drills & Inspections
Routine inspections by the McAllen City Department and licensing authorities ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Additionally, we conduct regular security drills to prepare staff and students for emergencies, with multiple clearly marked emergency exits strategically located throughout the building for safe evacuation.
